These wine bottles have been so much fun to alter. I covered them with jute twine, then added laces, pearls, and hand made muslin flowers and rosettes. I also could not resist adding a little key charm.
This is what they ended up looking like:
A lovely dogwood branch and I can bring a little spring inside my door.
I like it!
Blessings to all,
Pat

Shabby Chic Spoon Ornaments
Last season for my Christmas Open House, I decorated a small tree with shabby chic ornaments in pink, white, pearls, and snow. This year I plan to do a much larger one. I got such great feedback on that tree and sold a lot of ornaments from it.
I'm working on spoon ornaments today in the shabby style. I love the way these turned out and I just wanted to share
I stamped tissue paper and decoupaged the images, wrapped the handles and added trims and hand made rosettes, bows, pearls, and a little bling. I will be selling these for $5 each.
Enjoy your day and be blessed,
Pat

Meet the Sproingy, Springy, Bunnies
Made these little bunnies on springs from a pattern that I bought from Old Road Primitives. Love these little guys! The pattern was very easy to follow and you can add all your own embellishments to make them your own. Love that!
I made their hats from burlap and I also painted the bed springs in pastels.
Be blessed, everyone, and I so enjoy comments!!

Easter is on it's way!
I am confident that spring will come. It is currently snowing outside my window here in the mountains of Virginia, but I know warm weather is coming. I can see the daffodils popping up in the garden, soon to bloom.
For the last couple of weeks I have been working on some Easter stuff for my booths.
Hope you enjoy!!
If anyone is interested, just email and I will price these for you.
Be happy and blessed!

New Year, New Challenges!
It is really cold here in Virginia. The Christmas season was different for us this year. Seems like it crept up on us and we were not ready.. I am always very busy at this time and this year did not disappoint in that area.
The open house was a success and everyone really enjoyed it. I was so glad to entertain friends, old and new, and my family of craftsmen always seems to have a lot of fun. Our Christmas was filled with the love of family also and two new little additions to my niece's family. Twins! Born on the 22nd of December. Congrats to the family.
These are some pics of the mountain above our home. Shows how cold it has been this past week or so.
Currently working on some Valentine stuff for my booths at Buy the Season and Blue Ridge Antiques.

More to come!
Be blessed,
Pat

Whew!
It has been a busy couple of months! Craft shows and craft booths have kept me hopping.
The craft shows are done for the year except for my Craft Open House. This I do each year on the second weekend in December. Here are the details and I invite you to come if at all possible:
Humble Heart Designs Craft Open House
2287 Sawmill Road
Ferrum, VA
10am-6pm
We serve taco soup and finger foods to all who enter and the hand made crafts and gifts are amazing.
Photography, Quilting, Crochet, Knitting, Wood working, and Personalized Ornaments. So much fun and friendship! You won't want to miss it!
Getting the place spruced up for the event!
Have a blessed week!
