Tutorial

I thought I'd share this little tutorial for a jute and lace Christmas ornament.  I got the idea from Pintrest, and as I am doing another shabby chic tree this year, I thought I'd make some and share.

You will need a mason jar ring, about 5 yds of jute, 21" of lace and a 21" length of tiny pearl trim.
Also you will need a glue gun and glue sticks.

Here we go!

First glue the end of jute to the inside of the ring...

Wrap the jute around the ring...

until it is all filled up...

Glue the end to the back of the covered ring...

Now is the time to add a hanger to your ornament...

Attach lace to the back of the ornament and wrap...

Evenly space your lace like so...

Repeat with the tiny string pearls...

Almost done...

Add a bow, some pearls and a ribbon rose and there you have it.

These are so pretty on a tree.  They are also very good for wedding decoration as well.

If you try it, I'd love to see pictures.

Blessings
