What's in the Works

It's time to get ready for the fall and winter craft shows.  This is what is on the workbench.

A new set of spoon Christmas ornaments

Some new fabric pumpkins.  They have spices inside along with the stuffing, so my craft room smells awesome!

They are made from upholstery fabrics and burlap.  With jute and wooden stems.

So much fun!

My harvest corn bowl fillers

Some snowy mice arrangements.  They are arranged on a 45 rpm record base.

Scented Snowmen of all sizes!

and more square faced snowmen and a few gnomes this year!

Yes, I am busy, but this is my time of the year to get started and I will probably be crafting (playing) every day until the last of the season!

Hope all are happy and blessed!

My workbench

My workbench is full of signs to take to my craft booth at Buy the Season in Salem.  I will also be taking some with me to the craft show in Mayodan next month.  More about that later.

These signs are made with scrap pieces of wood that Larry brought home for fire starters.  They proved to be a perfect size to put together for the farmhouse look that is so popular right now for decor.  I love the country look, don't you?

Be happy and blessed!

What's on My Workbench!

I have been happily creating some wooden hand painted mandala pendants this week.

These are all ready to go.  I am not a jewelry maker, but I am enjoying this process.

There is something very relaxing about putting dots on a piece of wood.  Can't explain it.....But, so much fun!

Hope your day is happy and blessed!

At this time I am busy working on some Easter projects to sell at my booth in Salem.

Here are some eggs I have come up with this year to add to my collection for Easter.  I almost sold all of my wrapped and painted eggs last year.  Just trying a new style this year.  I am pleased with the results.  Let me know what you think.

I also stitched up some carrots in muslin, painted them, tied them in little bunches of three.  We, after all, have to feed our little bunny pals.

I hope everyone is having a happy day!
