Moving Right Along!

Has it really been 2 weeks since my last post?  Wow the time goes by too, tooo, fast.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter.  You know it's not just about bunnies and eggs. The sacrifice that our Lord made for us is an incredible honor to celebrate.  I am so thankful for the blessings He brings to my life.
My family and I had a cookout on Easter Sunday and Laura and I made tiny sample cakes for Olivia to see and taste for the wedding.
They were a great success and will look lovely on the tables at the reception.

Chris and Olivia will be married on May 7, and I am honored that they asked me to do their cakes.
I've done a lot of wedding cakes, but these are really special 'cause they're for MY kids. From the time that Chris was sent to us, I have prayed that God would prepare a young girl that he might someday take as a lifelong mate.  Someone Just Like Olivia.  We love her dearly and thank God for his answer to prayer.
Next week should be a very busy one for us.  Soooo excited.
Blessings to all,
~Pat~

Praise God!

Praise the Lord, my back feels a lot better!

Yesterday, I actuallly cleaned a couple of corners in the house and decorated a little for Easter. And I have gotten busy on the orders I needed to fill.  There are other projects in the works and I'll try to post pictures later.  For now I thought I'd list some cute little mushroom pinkeeps. These are so much fun and they are only $3.00 each plus shipping.
Send me an email message if you are interested and I'll list more things in a few days.

Joyfully,
~Pat~

On the Mend

For two weeks now I have had problems with my back.  Occasionally when I overdo, my old back decides it will spasm to let me know.  So, I have been taking it easy for a while.  Yesterday, I felt better and decided to catch up all in one morning.  Needless to say this ole back protested and I had to go to bed.
This morning I got busy again, and lo and behold, guess what happens.  I know that I just have to give it time.

Thought I'd add some checkbook covers to my blog today.  These sell for $8.oo and shipping is FREE.
Please Email if you are interested so that I can get your color preference and shipping address.  Have a blessed day, everyone!

April Showers

April already.  I cannot believe how fast the months go by.
Last weekend I did a show in Roanoke, but the turnout wasn't great and profits were low.  I can relate!  Folks have a hard time just buying groceries and gas these days.  Crafts are not a neccessity for most.
Artisan sales under the Pavilion in Floyd start in May.  Hopefully, we will be blessed with good sales there.  It will be nice to see everyone again after our winter break.
I stopped in at the St. Pierre Gallery this morning and things look so good.  Friends tell me that foot traffic is picking up and more people are coming in.  That's very good news!
If you get a chance to visit the gallery, I know you will enjoy it.

Blessings to all,
~Pat~
